Portland Design Works Full Metal Fender Set Description: The Portland Design Works Full Metal Fender Set is a stylish addition to any bike that will provide excellent protection against nasty road and trail debris and foul weather. These lightweight fenders are constructed out of anodized aluminum for a fender that will maintain those great looks for a long time. Supporting these beautiful fenders are a set of oversized alloy stays that mount to the bike with safety release tabs that will break away if anything gets caught in the stays, protecting the bike frame and wheels. Finally, replaceable polypropylene mud flaps are attached to the ends of these fenders to ensure there is minimal spray hitting you and your riding buddies as they ride behind you. Fit Note: The fenders need to be 7mm (or 0.28″) wider than the listed tire size for proper debris and tire clearance. If using a very knobby tire and/or frequently riding over muddy trails, then it is recommended to go with at least 10mm wider fenders if the bicycle’s frame/fork allow for the extra width.
